A Single Clap is Like a SLAP!

"However, a single clap comes across as a dismissive gesture, almost like an insult." There's a reason that this particular quote from "The One Clap Wonders" is the top highlighted passage. It's painfully true!

Just as I shared in a former story, in many cases, I feel like it's rude. https://medium.com/p/65315de540d6 and almost spiteful.

We all have written headlines, that for whatever reason, just miss the mark, so it's not unusual to have a visitor stop by a story, and leave abruptly.

You put it eloquently Petra, by reminding us that "We can't all enjoy every single article we click on." But that's surely no reason to leave a gesture that amounts to little more than an insult.
