All valid points Debbra. You're right about the About Me page, but sadly, not everyone has one. As for the older stories that get pinned at the top - the choice of strategy depends on WHO you're pinning for. If for new visitors, the best one or two older stories that did well is a smart option. But if you're pinning for regulars, you're right, they want the new stuff on top. So the question becomes, which type of visitor do you get more of. Maybe those should take priority when pinning. It's definitely food for thought :-)
