Anything But Dull: A Mermaid Sighting

Meanwhile, down below, Justin had one last empty container he planned to fill. Before he could fill it, and resurface, he spotted the flashlight that had finally made its’ way to bottom. He looked down at the light as it landed on the sandy section just below him.

Justin swam down and got the light, recognizing it as the one he had joked with J.P. about. He also noticed two bottles of water that had floated to the bottom as well. He didn’t know why the items were down there, but he knew it was time for him to resurface. He sensed that something must be up.

He swam all the way to the top as quickly as possible, and was just as confused as J.P. had been. He saw a pair of sunglasses and various odds and ends…
