"Children don’t trust other authority figures because of their previous interactions with other adults. " So very true. It shouldn't be so hard for adults to accept the concept of how our youth are going through things they can't always articulate, other than in some way that adults see as negative or rude, whether it''s their hair, speech, or conduct. It's so awesome that as an educator, you can recognize this, even though other who should - don't. Great story my dude :-)
