Good point Carolyn, but I find that while there's a lot of the same information being given, and often in generalities, most writers who are super productive, have their own way of doing things. We can tell you what works for us, but in my experience, no one thing works the same way for everyone. I can offer 2 suggestions. 1) Don't try to figure out what's popular or what people want. Giving people what they need is a lot easier to figure out. Just like you determined what newbies really need. 2) Why don't you cherry pick all the worthwhile points you find scattered in different stories, and create one story with the best and most useful tips. That's a worthwhile start :-)
