"Grammar and formality should never be a cage for the colorful wild bird that is your creativity." This statement says it all, but it's funny, because it's not just the newbie's who are afraid of coloring outside the lines. I'll bet dollars to donuts the person who did that critique has been doing it for so long, she's forgotten her authentic self, if she ever knew her. Great piece (no pun intended) :-)
