Great story and final question Chris. For me, what drives the narrative, is whatever I announce in the title and subtitle. In my story, I make sure I address anything that I teased my readers about in the headlines, as well as the subtitle, which adds more meaning to a sometimes too clever title. At the end of all my stories, the final sentences tie the whole thing up in a tidy little bundle, by referring back to the title and subtitle. :-)
