Hey Binky. Thanks for counting me worthy of tagging for an answer. Of course, this is just my humble opinion, but I'd go with the spacing. I love a nice clean looking page, no matter what genre or the size of the content. It makes the content more appealing to get into, instead of overwhelming and off putting. I suspect that's going to be the majority view :-)
