Hey Charisse, I think you can maybe reach out to Medium staff, but I imagine they're swamped and will take their time getting to you - not sure. But the email only indicated that the lack of the ISBN number was the issue, not that it was self published. If you self published on KDP, but bought an ISBN, you should be good. :-)
