Hi Jana, I can relate to everything you're saying, and I'm seeing and feeling the same thing, sort of. I'll break the 400 story mark by the end of October, and probably 1500 followers. Although I'm finally in the "so what" club of makint it over $100, the amount of earnings, seem low, considering the other aforementioned stats. BUT, there's one thing that's allowing me to hang in there and just keep writing, and another writer posted about it recently. Older stories that you write off as having missed their moment can still get popular at various times and suddenly people are reading them. Why? Heck if I know, but I see it happen time and time again. So stick to writing "evergreen" topics that don't have a shelf life, then keep writing and adding them to your shelf :-)
