Hi Jessica. Glad to have found my way to you, via your friend Angie Mangino and her story about reviewing books. I loved your comment about how the books make you feel. As for a book that changed my life. I've written about Ralph Keyes book: The Courage to Write. I credit that book for putting me on the path to being serious about becoming a writer. As for a work of fiction, I would shamefully have to say my own 2nd novel, Lights Out at the Moulin Rouge, and only because researching the content for the basis of the book, woke me up to the story about the iconic Las Vegas Moulin Rouge; a lesser known piece of Black entertainment history. Thanks for supporting your fellow authors, in the way you do :-)
