I agree. They offer 100% transparency about things. I'm not sure about you missing the announcement. It may have went into another one of your folders. I found mine in the "Promotions" folder of my Gmail. Sometimes notifications land there, so check and see. Let me know if you don't see it, and I'll forward you a copy of my email :-)
