"I do not need to people please to show others I care" I love this statement, whether you have to contend with a narcissist or not. So often, we're hard on ourselves, and feel like everyone has to like us, and if not, we have trouble liking ourselves. But the saying really is true, about not being able to please all the people all the time. And it's definitely pointless to try. Thanks Annette :-)
