I know, I liked the larger images too, for some stories, but I have to admit, sometimes I went overboard. I think the huge images may cause a problem with pages loading. I know when I first publish a story to my publication and go to view it, it takes several seconds for the image to pop in. I'm sure the bigger it is, the longer the load time. When you multiply the problem by thousands of stories, I imagine that could eventually result in a hot mess. Just a theory :-).
