Although I'm a niche writer who writes about writing - including Medium - I also have hundreds of other unrelated stories that manage to get buried and go unread. I agree on many points, even about how we recycle our stories, but even that activity is a must if you don't want to burn out, trying to come up with new content. Many stories from previous times, might not have even gotten a dozen views. Personally, with a story like that, I'm not going to change too much, because no one read it in the first place. There's so much that's wrong with this platform, it's ridiculous, but it still manages to take and keep a hold on us. Enjoy your time away dude :-)
