If it says "Copied", that's your confirmation that the story link will be identified as a friend link, thus allowing access to the story, by any one who clicks that particular link. So after it says "copied" - go "paste" the link somewhere, like a story draft, just to view the link for yourself. Keep that link and use it whenever you want someone to read that story, like in a Tweet or IG post, etc.. Hope that helps :-)
