"it was very hard to make the final decision to leave and submit my letter of resignation." I feel for you KL, having had to leave my absolute dream job as a school librarian, due to the undisclosed Carpal Tunnel condition I didn't tell them about, thinking I could hide it. I figured once I got the library completely in order over the summer, I could keep up with the rigorous demands once the school year started. WRONG. I barely had time in between class visits, to even keep things orderly, let along catalog books - with no library assistant (budget cuts). My last day was on Halloween and I left in tears. Those type of positions where people depend on you, are truly prisons in a sense, but I'll trade my guilt in leaving, for my good health any day. You made the right decision :-)
