"it’s easier to get started with a story when you don’t feel overwhelmed with the need to write a lot. The easy effort might cause you to keep going, and before you know it, you’ve written an excellent long-form story!" Excellent point Glenn. This happens to me constantly. I can blink and have 150 words down before I know it. I love short form, but I think a good sweet spot is a tad bit longer than the 150, with no hesitation about having the "read more" link :-)
