It's really amazing how you can even come across antiques and collectibles, once you have your radar fine tuned. I once lived a block away from an auction house. Every Tuesday the neighborhood would swarm with outsiders, headed to the auction. At first I merely capitalized on the foot traffic, by holding a weekly yard sale of odds and ends. Before I knew it, I was stumbling on and acquiring items that the auction goers were truly interested in, like what I thought were just an "old" set of lamps and an "old" dinning table (complete with the slack that goes in the middle). They earned me a little over $500 bucks! Who knew? This is such a great topic Tom. Thanks for the tip on where to look for estate sales. I may have to check FB out sometime :-)
