LOL - "I would rather delete my account than leave MPP" - I don't think they're encouraging people to click and leave. I think it might be a legality. They probably have to provide a more visible way for people to opt out. I know when I sign up to join certains sites and get various services, it bugs the hell out of me, when I can't find a way to do things like cancel, or terminate an account, or even turn off the "auto" renewal feature. So maybe it's a way to make sure people know they have that option. But like you, I definitely steer clear of that damn button, so I don't accidentally click it :-)
