"...my days on the high school newspaper were short and miserable; I wanted to create, not report." My very first day of journalism class in junior college, I was thrust out of the classroom, and given an interview assignment. I knew I wanted to write, but I never considered what kind of writer. I later discovered it wasn't to be a journalist and do interviews. The writing you're doing now is you, and like you said, "exclusive" to you. Listen to the advice, tips and suggestions on the platform, weigh their value, tailor them to your own circumstances, and just do YOU Ms. Sara J. Elliott, and that damn well is good enough! :-)
