My dear, it's sad to say, but your words ring so true. I had the similar cold shower for no f*cking reason, from so called "educators" when I worked as a school librarian. I was so crushed in spirit, that I actually quit after a month - giving up my absolute dream job. I loved the kids and they loved me, but I hate to say it, but I sincerely couldn't deal with those mean spirited b*tchs, especially when I had done absolutely nothing to them. I probably would have tried to hang in there longer, but I had already experienced something similar on two different jobs, where I endured for a while. One was a room full of discontent old biddies where we worked as dispatchers, and the other was a school cafeteria gig, with another matronly group of mean women. Maybe it was my seemingly youthful or bubbly spirit. I don't know, and eventually, didn't care. As for you Sherry, I can just feel the shade from here, those old heffers were probably throwing your way. Too bad they didn't get the Sherry version they get around here on Medium. You would have sent them all home in tears every night :-)
