OMG - thank goodness for the ability to hear, because I LOVE music so much. Just like you, it has been a constant in my life, and once upon a time, so were books. I enjoyed this statement: "pick out enough books to make them last until the following week." We were allowed to check out TEN whole books at once, and I loved it. I once checked out at least 8 different Charlie Brown books, then we moved to Chicago before I could return them. That was the start of my own library :-)
