" plays a role in visibility on Medium." This was a good point about visibility. Some readers enjoy reading the comments even more than the stories, so having something worthwhile to say in a comment goes a long way. But what I don't get Alessio, is this whole idea of "waiting" to clap and or comment. IF people are actually READING the stories like they should be, there's no need to wait or pace yourself so you know enough time has passed to applaud. If you haven't read the story, what the heck are people applauding for that soon anyway? I used to think asking folks to stick around for at least 30 seconds was a good strategy, but now, not so much. I say stick around and read the darn story guys. Thanks Alessio :-)
