Today, I woke up fed up to my eyeballs about the lousy situation that continues to exist on Medium.

I imagine that some of you are probably thinking:

“What I’m fed up with Justiss, is the way you switch back and forth with your opinion of Medium, like an oscillating fan on a hot day in July!”

I get it.

I just wrote a buttload of stories about how well things seem to be going on Medium, and how there just may be hope for Medium still.

This was in response to the oh so controversial “Friend of Medium” madness that has still got a mental stronghold on the community.

Yes, I had the audacity to hope that this new upgrade option had the potential to truly benefit everyone in the community, whether they decided to upgrade or not.

My newly launched club for “friends” was created with that particular pipe dream in mind!

In all honesty, now I’m not so sure.

As quickly as anyone posts some good news about earnings, the algorithm does some crazy unexplained crap, and suddenly you’re seeing stories like this:
