Right you are. I'm a fanatic for notes, but I used to write so many, everywhere but in my story drafts, and I'd end up with tons of good content that I had to transpose from every sort of scrap of paper I'd "jotted something down on". But we all have o find what works for us individually, and stick to that :-)
