"so I was doubly miserable." LOL - Don't feel bad sweetie. Been there, done that, honestly. It's all par for the course, because like you said, we're writers, it's who we are, and we yearn to tell a story - any story. I've cheated on my vacation and breaks by writing when I said I wouldn't, but like you said, we're doubly miserable when we fail to write and also fail to get anything else accomplished. I for one am glad you're back :-)
