Sounds to me like this non-binding clause allows them to decide within the course of the month, to change things up, and pay us what the hell they want to pay us, or even not at all (think back to this past March and all the accidental bans of legitimate writers). But it is what it is, so what are you gonna do? Either stay and suck it up, or go. PERIOD. I'm still here, so I guess I'm staying..:-)
