Take a Moment to Recognize Your Personal Growth and Development

If you can’t take time to appreciate yourself how can you expect anyone else to?

Recognizing your own growth requires taking a good long look at yourself and seeing yourself for who you really are. This is something you learn to do for yourself and has nothing to do with how someone else sees you.

If you like what you see, then proclaim it happily and be proud of the obstacles you have overcome.

If you don’t like what you see, then ask yourself why not and determine what to do so you can change it.

Just remember that true growth is something that takes time, so be honest in your self-evaluation.

Don’t beat yourself up for not changing quick enough but don’t give yourself credit where it is not due.

Instead, just be objective; admit your faults and strengths honestly. By doing so, you’ll recognize where you have actually grown and where you have room for improvement.

For instance, I can honestly say I’ve grown, just by posting my first short form story, especially since I have a problem with being long winded :-)

See, I’ve grown.
