"The volume you read, and the regularity with which you read work by the same author, certainly seems to play a part in the calculations." That's an interesting concept. I never even think about all this, but I do think there's value in reading multiple stories by one writer, in one session, as opposed to popping by now and then and not staying long. I usually always leave a long winded comment (not on purpose), pus highlight as I read, and of course give applause, so I imagine my reads ought to be worth a lot. I'm just saying., but I could be wrong. Maybe the higher reads are those rare ones, and not the Chatty Cathys like me :-)
