"They’ve stopped telling stories. They just recite their old script." Yes, I can say that I've seen this in some of the writers I found myself looking to as pillars, until I realized I'd rather be a pillar myself, not patterned after someone else's claims of success, but by being my authentic self, talking in my unique voice, and not being afraid to disclose more than just my perceived successes and milestones. With my same candor, I publish my failures and limitations, as they relate to whatever I'm sharing with readers. I believe authenticity is what readers truly want in whatever they read. Thanks for a great topic Riccardo :-)
