What a humorous little story, but very pointed Tom. My wise cracking smart ass would have probably responded to the challenge that everyone has to write "something", by merely scribbling the word "SOMETHING", then challenging her by insisting I followed the exact orders. Teachers actually like the students who think outside the box, even when they seem to object. :-)
