After being a prolific writer on Medium for more than two solid years, I can honestly say that I value the creative editors and all the publications they design and maintain on this website.

That includes both the large and the small publications that are available to submit to.

But one thing to keep in mind, when thinking about where you want your stories to find a home, is that smaller publications are usually more likely to accept submissions from new or less experienced writers, than the big publications.

Countless small and even new publications, will often welcome new writers and members with open arms.

Here are a few for example:

• I recently had a story published in the publication: “All About M” (Medium)
• I also had a story published in two sister publications: “Short. Sweet. Valuable”
• ALSO: Another story published in their publication: “Long. Sweet. Valuable”
• I also submitted a resource story and was published in: “Read or Die”
