"who write about only themselves" Hey Joe, great work, and I agree with you on everything, but not exclusively, or rather, to a degree. You did provide the caveat in the quote when you used the word "only" because sometimes you can write about yourself, as long as you figure out a way to still make the story be for the reader. No body cares about your experience and what it did or didn't do for you, but they welcome hearing about how it benefits them. Also, if you happen to be a person with a lot of dramatic personal stuff to write about, this might be another exception to the rule. For instance, living through a shoot out, being caught up in a murder trial, having a mate found dead from a violent attack, saving a mother from an overdose, or all of the above. Some people might find that interesting to read, although it was hell to live through :-)
